Work Wonders vs Featurebase

Both tools cover the same job: collect product feedback in public, turn it into a roadmap, and tell customers what shipped. The differences show up in what else lives alongside that — a help center, shared inbox — and in how much of it you can put on your own domain.

What Work Wonders gives you

Three public modules from one workspace: a feedback board with voting and boards, a changelog, and a help center. Each one can be turned on or off per organization, and each can sit on its own verified custom domain.

Every published article and release is server-rendered with its own title, description, canonical URL and structured data, and appears in a per-organization sitemap — so the content you write for customers is content search engines can rank.

Machine-readable exports (`llms.txt`, `llms-full.txt`, and Markdown versions of every article) so AI assistants can read your articles directly rather than scraping rendered HTML.

What to evaluate on either tool

Does the public portal render on the server? If article content only appears after JavaScript runs, search engines and AI crawlers may see an empty page.

Can each module have its own domain, and does the tool emit a single canonical URL when the same content is reachable on more than one host? Duplicate URLs split ranking signals.

How does it handle multiple languages? Per-language URLs need hreflang tags pointing at each other, or they compete with one another.

What happens to your content if you leave? Look for Markdown or API export, not just a CSV of votes.

Migration

Work Wonders imports existing feedback boards and help center content, so you can move without asking customers to re-post their requests. Existing article URLs can be redirected to their new home to preserve the rankings you already have.

Frequently asked questions

Can I keep my existing help center domain?

Yes. Each module — feedback, changelog, help center — can be pointed at its own verified custom domain, and Work Wonders serves a canonical URL and a sitemap for that domain.

Is public feedback indexed by Google?

Public posts on public boards are server-rendered, carry DiscussionForumPosting structured data, and are listed in your organization sitemap. Private boards and private organizations are excluded and marked noindex.
